Assimilating The Invisible: Lissa Dillon

Lissa Dillon is a Speech Therapist at Dearborn County Hospital. For 6 months after my accident she worked with me to find new synapses, or connections that had been lost because of the massive trauma, pressure, and swelling on my brain. Doing normal functions like word finding, sentence structure, and elementary math had to be relearned using exercises and repetition in speech, memory, and concentration.
